The Washington Nationals (also called the Nats) are a Major League Baseball (MLB) franchise based in Washington, D.C. Prior to the 2005 season, the current Nationals team played in Montreal as the Montreal Expos. The Nationals are a member of the National League's Eastern Division, and they currently play at Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium, which 30+ years ago was the ballpark for the second Senators team. The team is expected to move into a new ballpark, located in Southeast D.C. near the Anacostia River and with views of the Capitol building, in the Spring of 2008. (courtesy: Wikipedia.org)
