Georgia Dome General Info

The Georgia Dome opened September 6th, 1992 as a domed stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. It is located east of downtown and west of Vine City. The World Congress Center Authority owns and operates it by the State of Georgia. In accordance with the NFL stadium bag policy, fans may only bring NFL-approved clear bags, one-gallon plastic storage bags, and small clutch bags. Coolers, backpacks, and non-approved seat cushions are prohibited in the Georgia Dome. 

Georgia Dome Seating Info

The Georgia Dome is configured so sections wrap around the entire stadium. Lower Levels range from sections 101-140, the Mezzanine Level includes sections 200-251, and the Upper Levels includes sections 301-352. The Falcons bench is located between sections 111-120, while the visitor's bench is positioned between sections 131-140. Prime seating on the Lower Level is positioned in areas 113-118 and 133-138.

Georgia Dome Parking & Tailgate Information

Official Atlanta Falcons parking lots include the Red Deck, Blue Lot, Gold Lot, and Yellow Lot. Parking is limited to 4,000 spaces. Tailgating before games in allowed in all Georgia Dome operated parking lots, except for parking decks. Lots open 5-hours before kickoff and close 2-hours after each game. MARTA is a highly recommend as the Georgia Dome is accessible by MARTA from the Vine City and Georgia Dome stations. 

Georgia Dome Verizon Wireless Club Information

The Verizon Wireless Club is an exclusive member-only area at the Georgia Dome. Seats in sections 200, 217-226, and 243-251 include access to the Verizon Wireless Lounge. This VIP area features over 80 flat-screen TVs, special bars, and access to the new 2View Restaurant. Club seats are extra-wide, padded, theater-style seats.  

Georgia Dome Gate Time Information

Main gates at the Georgia Dome open 1.5-hours prior to kickoff and remain open until 30-minutes after the game.
