Atlanta Secures Undefeated Record, Barely

atlanta falcons tickets

Now in the Atlanta Falcons' well-deserved bye week, we can finally catch our breath, and we are sure our favorite team is doing the same thing.

Last week, the Falcons emerged as the only undefeated NFL team after the first six games of the 2012 season (the runner-up, Houston Texans fell to the Green Bay Packers). Those with Atlanta Falcons tickets were undoubtedly on the edges of their seats in the Georgia Dome. The win over the Oakland Raiders certainly did not come easy.

While quarterback Matt Ryan threw no less than three interceptions, Atlanta scored big when cornerback Asante Samuel caught his own interception, running nearly 80 yards for a touchdown in the last quarter. The lead did not last long however; the Raiders came back shortly thereafter to tie the game. From there, the intensity never let up as Ryan managed to secure four passes. With a single second remaining in the game, Matt Bryant kicked a 55-yard field goal to bring the Falcons to 23 points over Oakland's 20. It was a surprisingly close match, for the Raiders' current 1-4 standing. Regardless, we will take the win.

Now we cannot wait spend our Falcons tickets on the next home game versus the Dallas Cowboys!
