Atlanta is heating up and so are the Atlanta Braves! The Braves are currently leading the National League East after some intense games! Don’t miss this exciting Braves homestand at SunTrust Park. Braves vs. Cubs

Unfortunately, the Braves fell to the Cubs on Tuesday night, just missing a win! Chicago defeated Atlanta in a close game, prevailing 3-2. Luckily, the Braves have a chance to redeem themselves. The Atlanta Braves will play the Chicago Cubs in two more games this week:

The 2018 Atlanta Falcons schedule has been released!  Football may be months away, but the schedule release gives Falcons fans something to look forward to. Check out these exciting games for the 2018 season!

2018 Atlanta Falcons Home Schedule

The Falcons first home game begins with a rivalry match: the Carolina Panthers. These two teams have a long history, and not always a pretty one! Surely the Falcons will be itching for a win against a fellow NFC South team. The next Sunday, the Falcon have no rest as they face yet another NFC South rival, the New Orleans Saints.

The Falcons play just one primetime home game this year: against the New York Giants on Monday, October 22. Additionally, the Falcons play the ever popular Dallas Cowboys for the second year in a row.

The Falcons begin the season with an away game on Thursday night against the Philadelphia Eagles. For certain, the Falcons will be out for blood in this game, as the Eagles knocked the Dirty Birds out of a Super Bowl run in 2017. Obviously, there is not a lot of love between the two teams!

Then, the Birds go on to play the Pittsburgh Steelers in their next road game in Week 5 and do not go on the road again until Week 9 at the Redskins. Also, the Falcons have a tough matchup against the Packers in December. The Falcons finish up the season as they began it, against two fellow NFC South teams.

Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit have been dubbed “Alt-country.” The band performs a mixture of honkey tonk, bluegrass, and folk, speaking to audiences across the board.

Isbell recently won two Grammy Awards. He took home the Best Americana Grammy for last year’s album, Nashville Sound. Additionally, the Best American Roots Song was awarded to Isbell for his song, “If We Were Vampires.” The Nashville Sound album soared to the top of the Billboard charts, making the Top Five.

There are just two days left until Opening Day at SunTrust Park! Braves fans are getting excited about the start of baseball season. Braves season begins this Thursday at 4:10 pm! The Atlanta Braves organization has a great celebration prepared for the start of the season. They’ve even declared Opening Day a holiday at SunTrust Park. Opening Day Festivities at the Battery Atlanta

The Braves will host an array of Opening Day festivities at the Battery Atlanta before the game.

  • Coaches and players will participate in a pregame parade at noon.  The parade goes down Battery Way and into the Chophouse before batting practice.
  • Following the parade, check out the Leadoff show starting at 1:05 pm. The show features the Atlanta Braves Heavy Hitters, ATL Breakers, and the Tomahawk Team.
  • A Wiffle Ball Tournament will be held on the Plaza Green. Additionally, participate in a pick-up stickball game!
  • The celebration will include appearances by the Home Depot tools and Blooper the mascot.
  • The season’s first Chop Rally begins at 3:20 pm in the Plaza!

Opening Day Festivities at the Coca-Cola Roxy

The Coca-Cola Roxy venue inside the Battery Atlanta is the official spot for the Opening Day tailgate!

  • Hosted by 680 The Fan, the tailgate begins at noon and is free!

They are friendly on the wallet, and many still have a great view! For less expensive tickets that still have a good view, look for seats in these areas:

  • Home Run Porch (100 Level)- These are outfield seats, but if you grab a low row, there’s still a good view and a chance to catch a home run ball.
  • Vista Infield (300 Level)- These third level tickets are easier on the wallet, but also have great views of the entire park. Check out Sections 318-324 to sit on the Braves side.
  • Grandstand Infield (400 Level)- The fourth level of seating is obviously the highest and least expensive. Sections 420-433 are a good option for a better view of the field in the Grandstand.
